Not sure exactly where my love of vintage started, I do remember watching a lot of black and white films at my grandmother's place and I'm sure that set me up for appreciating bygone eras - the styles, fashions and oh, the etiquette.

 

I would marvel at the amazing hairstyles, it felt like they had created them in a way that would always be a mystery. So I began to experiment with rollers, tongs - and before I knew it I was an advocate of setting lotion and pin curls.

 

I have been specially trained in the finger-wave technique, which is at the base of a lot of vintage looks.  I'm proud of the many hairstyles I have created over the few years from all eras, for all sorts of women.

 

The vintage hair look is particularly popular now with brides as it encompasses glamour, elegance and sophistication all in one, however I always work closely with brides to make sure the look is tailored to them and their own style.
